REJURAN is developed by Pharma Research. Its main ingredients are extracted from salmon stem cells, and it contains two core components: PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) and PN (polynucleotide).
Two core ingredients
- PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide): a small molecule acting on the superficial layers of the skin, with anti-inflammatory and tissue-repair effects, commonly used to improve acne and redness. This ingredient is also found in diabetic wound-healing ointments.
- PN (polynucleotide): a larger molecule, injected into the dermis, providing a supporting framework for fibroblasts, locking in moisture and improving elasticity. It is the main ingredient chosen for REJURAN injections, and can improve skin hollows and fine lines.
Both are highly similar to human DNA, can penetrate the skin to repair damaged cells and stimulate collagen synthesis, and have therefore been described as “the Hermès of skin boosters”.
How it differs from ordinary skin boosters
Skin boosters on the market have hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient. Through ultra-fine needles, hydrating essence is injected into the deeper layers of the skin, quickly replenishing moisture and repairing facial fine lines. REJURAN’s main ingredients are PDRN or PN, which can reach skin cells, repair damaged tissue, and further activate collagen-producing cells and strengthen the skin barrier — a more comprehensive effect.
REJURAN range at a glance
| Range | Ingredients | Features | Suitable for |
|---|
| Black box | High-concentration PN | Stimulates collagen production, repairs damaged cells, anti-ageing | First-time users |
| Red box | PN + hyaluronic acid + anaesthetic | Deep repair + hydration, reducing wrinkles | Those sensitive to pain; ageing skin |
| White box | High-concentration PN (periocular design) | Improves dark circles, outer-corner fine lines and tear troughs | Ageing periocular skin, dry skin type |
| Blue box | PN (anti-inflammatory repair) | Anti-inflammatory, regulates oil, fades acne scars and pores | Oily skin, acne-prone skin |
Six key benefits
- Repairs damaged skin: activates and repairs skin cells, improving roughness, redness and early ageing
- Stimulates collagen production: activates collagen-producing cells, improving fine lines, wrinkles and sagging
- Strengthens the skin barrier: PN has a three-dimensional double-strand structure, deeply hydrating and reducing moisture loss
- Anti-inflammatory repair: soothes inflammation, improving acne and redness
- Brightens complexion: evens skin tone, fades pigment spots, improves dark circles and dullness
- Refines pores: collagen production allows pores to gradually refine as skin structure improves
Treatment process
- Skin assessment: analyse concerns such as allergy, acne, enlarged pores, dryness and redness
- Tailored plan: adjust the formula ratio and injection dose
- Local anaesthesia: use numbing cream and an appropriate amount of anaesthetic to reduce discomfort
- Combination injection: inject in a dotted pattern into the superficial skin with an ultra-fine needle (about 1.5–3 mm deep)
Results and duration
- Within 2–3 days after injection, the skin is noticeably more hydrated and pores appear smaller
- After 7–10 days, brightness and evenness of texture are significantly improved, and fine lines are better
- Results may last about 3 to 6 months; a complete course requires 3 injections, once a month
- Thereafter, a top-up once every 3–6 months
Side effects and precautions
- Redness and swelling at the injection site (settling within a few hours to two days), bruising (settling within a few days)
- Mild allergy (itching, redness), a swollen sensation (absorbed within a week)
- For 2 weeks after treatment, avoid stimulating skincare (AHAs, alcohol, brightening ingredients), and maintain hydration and sun protection
- Avoid vigorous exercise and massaging the injected area
